Here is what Mike O'Reilly said who stayed
at C'an Buri:
"I discovered C’an Buri whilst searching for holiday
accommodation in the quiet area of Mallorca in September 2006.
Our party consisted of myself, my wife and two friends. Arriving late at
night we were met by Serge’s representative who showed us the way to the
finca. We were absolutely astonished at the high quality of the
accommodation and couldn’t wait until morning to find out what could be
seen outside. The surroundings did not disappoint. Set in
'set in an acre and a half of
almond and olive groves it is the perfect peaceful spot yet near enough
to the fantastic beaches and towns . I have no hesitation in
recommending C’an Buri and am visiting again this year".

MAJORCA
FARMHOUSE HOLIDAY RETREAT |
Holiday in a beautiful Traditional Majorca Farmhouse
Sometimes
we need a quiet and magical little place in the sun to retreat to,
in order to feed body, mind and soul. C’an
Buri is a recently restored, traditional Majorcan Finca, situated in
an acre and a half of almond and olive orchard. Deep in the
countryside just outside the little town of Moscari, (which boasts
the best fish restaurant on the Island). It is right off
the ‘tourist track’ and ideal if you need real peace and quiet. (All
you hear at night is the sound of goat bells!)

 However,
it is also very close to ‘civilisation’, good restaurants (fabulous
ones at Selva, which is only ten minutes away) and
beach/night life. It only takes half an hour to drive to Palma
(the capital of Majorca and rapidly becoming a prodigious cultural
centre) and fifteen minutes to get to the beautiful old town of Pollensa and the beaches of Cala san Vicenc, Puerto Pollensa and
Alcudia. It
takes forty minutes to drive to the famous Formentor
beach.
While C’an Buri does not (yet) have a pool, it is only five minutes
drive from the town of Campanet, which sports a huge pool (free) &
restaurant (cheap, good local cuisine). As no tourists are here, and
as the local people never seem to visit pools, one has it virtually
to oneself and is therefore great to visit if one is too lazy to
make it to the beach!

The finca itself is charming and tastefully furnished. It is filled
with interesting artwork. It also has a well-stocked library
and plenty of good videos and DVDs. It has air-conditioning in all
the rooms, two double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, power
showers, laundry, satellite T.V. for English channels, a spacious
living-room leading to an open-plan kitchen/dining area. In the
summer, one eats out on the terrace. It is ideal for one or two
couples.
Guests will arrive to a basically-stocked kitchen and will meet with
someone to take them to the house and, if desired, inform them about
the island. If required, regular maid-service as well as a
home-delivery of freshly cooked Majorcan cuisine, can be
arranged.
